Required Skill Set:

• Candidates should have a thorough understanding of UNIX fundamentals, including the ability to build scripts and execute commands.
• Any scheduling tool knowledge (especially if you know CTM, Composer, or $U): It is preferable to be familiar with scheduling tools such as CTM, Composer, or $U.
• SQL queries: The ability to write SQL queries is required for data retrieval and processing.
• Production support expertise is required, as well as a thorough understanding of the production support process, problem-solving capabilities, analytical ability, and debugging methodologies.

Extra Skill Set:

• GCP/AWS/AZURE or other cloud expertise: Knowledge of cloud systems such as GCP, AWS, or AZURE is beneficial.
• Working understanding of ABI: Familiarity with ABI (Application Binary Interface) and the ability to work on ABI-related issue resolution and code enhancement.
• Python scripting: Python scripting proficiency for automation and task execution.
• UNIX Shell scripting: Extensive experience with UNIX Shell scripting for automation and job execution.

Global Payments Hiring 2023 for Associate Software Engineer Role – Responsibilities:

• Candidates must be willing to work any weekday or weekend shift, including morning, day, and night shifts, on a rotational basis.
• Adaptability to learn new tools/technologies: Candidates should be willing to learn new tools and technologies and be capable of supporting associated applications and processes.
